Terraria Auto Fisher

About this program:

This program will help you fish in terraria requiring you do do nothing and catch fish, otherwise its purity self explanatory. There are other auto fishers however non of them were good enough so I made my own. Although the current downloadable version doesn't have many features the full version once it comes out will have features that I have not been able to find in other auto fishers.

How to use:

After opening the application you will need to set the bobbers location, this can be done with the numbers, alternatively you can use the atomically find bobber which will scan the computer screen for the selected bobber, which you can do by selecting a fishing pole on the dropdown selection. To start the auto fisher make sure the bobber is in the view port, you can either press the enable auto fisher button or press F5 to turn on the auto fisher (note: while the program is preforming a key press F5 will not work ). the console will log the current stage that is at, this pretty self explanatory.

Trouble shooting:

In some cases the auto fisher wont work, run, detect bobber or any thing else, here are some common fixes:

- This program will not work if using a bobber accessory, therefore hide them and make sure the default fishing pole bobber is visible

- Restart the program

- Zoom out all the way (in game)

- Change colour settings (in game ) to something like color or retro (but try other ones incase those dont work)

- Some bobbers work better with waves on (in game) and some work better if there off so mess around with that

- you might need to move further away or closer to the water because the way it clicks the mouse

- The bobber needs to be in the viewport to start it, it wont cast if it wasn't already in the water

- Moving the terraria window or moving the player will change the position of the bobber in the display port meaning it will detect a fish, even if there is not one

- Heat distortion might cause issues so turn that off (in game) if its not working

- run the program as administrator

- run the game in windowed mode (meaning not full screen and so you can see the window header)

- change resolution settings (in game)

- graphics card settings might cause pixel to render differently, i don't know how to change them but its very possible that this is the case and if so you probably want to find another auto fisher

- Don't have the mouse over the bobber the bobber needs to visible at all times or else it will think its caught a fish (place mouse outside the viewport, but on terraria windows)

- The game needs to be on screen and the bobber needs to be in the view port
- If fishing in lava or if its not working in specific biomes try changing colour settings (the particals for )

- Lava also spawns partials so turn them off (idk if you can), so there might be false positives

- Make sure the bobber is lit (like with a torch, just make sure particles don't go over the bobber)

- Make sure the bobber is near the middle of the view port because it might not work on the edges

- Some fishing rods have a hard time being detected so you might want to change fishing rods (if you really want a good fishing rod you can try changing the texture of a bobber that doesn't detect well with one that dose like for example change texture of Chum Caster with the Fleshcatcher texture, but this might not work)

- If in multiplayer (or somehow you get multiple bobbers) make sure only 1 bobber is in the view port
